| Nov. 26, 2005 Holy Smokes BBQ Pennsville, N.J. For the first time ever, Dom had a "band" for an entire show! Steven Paul, a friend and fantastic blues-rock guitarist, joined Dom for four hours of Blues-n-Roots music at the recently opened Holy Smokes All-American Barbecue. The restaurant/bar, decorated with pictures of classic blues and rock-n-roll musicians, requested a blues-heavy show. So, Dom asked Steven -- who can give most any rock song a blues touch with his lead guitar style -- to be part of the performance. Dom played more of his blues songs than ever in a single show, plus covers that were either blues, close to blues, or other American rock/folk songs that could be "bluesed down." Dom and Steven had a long break after Set 2, so the last half of the show was 20 straight songs until a few minutes after midnight. The final song, Johnny Cash's "I Walk the Line," was a special request by one of the audience members who had been there for the entire show.
