| Mar. 24, 2007 Kavanagh's Irish Pub Malaga, N.J. First long bar show of 2007! Last year, it took until October to get one of these on the docket, but this year's tavern ice-breaker occurred on the first Saturday of spring. Kavanagh's was busy for Dom's first booking at the venue, but the large crowd was friendly. The place started to fill around 9:40 p.m., which was close to the first intermission (the live music began at 9 p.m.), so Dom added a couple of songs to the planned list and played right on through until a quarter to 11. Exactly half of the 32 songs featured harmonica, including many -- both originals and covers --that had the "full band" treatment for the first time. Having the harp along for more tunes will probably become a staple of the bar shows.
