| June 14, 2007 Crerand Ale House Claymont, Del. Dom performed twice at the Crerand Ale House as the opening act for The Essentials. The second of those occasions, the owner heard Dom's set and the two discussed scheduling a full appearance on a Thursday night. This was it! The Crerand Ale House is a huge supporter of regional music, especially artists who perform their own songs, so this was a bar show heavily weighted with Dom's material. The bar patrons responded favorably to the itinerary, which had a sprinkling of classic rock songs each hour. A few people danced during one song, and there were a couple of requests that Dom was able to honor. June 14 is Flag Day and also the birthday of the Continental Army in 1775. The Continental Army was what the 13 colonies called their military that would fight the British during America's War for Independence. July 4 gets all the publicity, but June 14 is equally as important to the founding of the United States of America and is directly connected to the sacrifice made by soldiers. Dom closed the night with "Walk Peacefully."
