| June 15, 2007 Bogart's Books & Coffee Millville, N.J. Dom had the opportunity to perform almost smack dab in the center of the Millville Arts District during this monthly Third Friday Arts Walk, held along High Street amongst the many galleries and merchants in this stretch of the city. Bogart's Books & Coffee had a steady flow of customers all night, and Dom was glad for the chance to play his original songs for a few hours. This show had no planned set list, so there's no record of the order of songs. There also wasn't a break in the performance, which lasted more than three-and-a-half hours until the owner had to start cleaning the store! The final tally was 41 original songs -- Dom had never performed so many of his own songs at a show! -- plus two Bob Dylan covers and "Happy Birthday" to a young lady named Catherine. Every song from the album Along the Way made the list, and a few of Dom's originals were by request (thanks Leroy and the gang from the Youth Group!). Thanks also to blues-harmonica virtuoso Terry "Bucky" Smith for the nod of approval to Dom's attempted harp fills in "Eight Bars of Blues." The songs, lised alphabetically, are as follows: Playlist: Ain't So Small After All Beginner's Luck Best Kind of Everything Blow Away Blueberry Wine Boat Bright, Full Moon Cat Out of Water Cold Cold Pizza The Devil's Wheels Eight Bars of Blues Fall Fast Asleep Geneseo Go Deep Good or Lucky Good Shepherd Sunday Halfway Hugs and Kisses Hum a Few Bars If I Get There First It Ain't Me, Babe (Bob Dylan cover) It Ain't Too Far Down Leave the Light on for Me Like a Rollin' Stone (Bob Dylan cover) Lonelier to Stay Lost Along the Way Making Good Time My Friend Not Really Not Supposed to Like On That Long, Green Line One Less Chance One of These Days Say Hi to Angelo's The Song with the Cheesy Rhymes Taxi Tie-Dyed Eyes Two Lights at a Time Walk Walk Peacefully Wish You Were Here Click here to return to 2007 News & Shows |
