Feb. 23, 2008
Swedesboro, N.J.

A few planned wrinkles made this appearance at Mugs a unique one.

First, Dom performed every song from
Along the Way in the order in which they fall on the album.

Second, there were only two cover songs, and both were written by regional independent artists.

And third, since news broke of the closing of Philadelphia's Grape Street music venue earlier in the month, Dom played two songs that he debuted at the old Grape Street Pub during an open mic in June of 2002.  That open-mic set was recorded and the pair of songs played that night were released on a two-song promo CD for Dom's first booked show (which happened to be at the Grape Street Pub on July 5, 2002).  "Good Talker," which has since been slightly reworked, and "Two Lights at a Time" served the nostalgic purpose.
