| Mar. 8, 2008 Home Grown Cafe Newark, Del. Two previous supporting performances led to Dom getting booked for a full show at this all-ages restaurant and bar on the border of the University of Delaware. Chapel Street Junction, a bluegrass/americana quartet featuring two recent U. of D. graduates, invited Dom to perform a set at their shows in October 2007 and February 2008. Those opportunities to audition in front of the staff and diverse audience at Home Grown Cafe helped Dom land an all-nighter on this almost-spring Saturday. A customer named Sherry was celebrating a birthday, and someone in her party requested a Neil Young song. So, Dom wished her a Happy Birthday and played "Prettiest Girl in the Bar" followed by "Heart of Gold" near the start of the second set. "This Land Is Your Land" found its way into the final hour after another patron requested anything by Woody Guthrie.
