| June 19, 2008 Library IV Williamstown, N.J. This fill-in performance turned out to be a very busy night. Williamstown High School's graduation was in the afternoon, and the WHS teachers had a dinner party at Library IV. Apparently, the teachers are happier than the students when the school year ends. Also, about half a dozen other patrons were throwing a surprise retirement party for a friend. The surprise was the party, not the retirement; he already knew he was retiring (otherwise it would've been a much bigger surprise). Dom added an extra blues cover to the third set to tie in with the theme: "Big Boss Man." Ha ha. Get it? Anyway, the retiree's friends had a cake for him. Dom explained to them that he is an official cake tester, but they did not require this type of professional service, even though Dom offered to do it for free. With all the people hanging out, this became a later Thursday night than usual for the venue. Dom took advantage of the situation and played an extended third set. Seen very briefly near Dom: a Black Angus burger.
