| Jan. 30, 2009 Dante's Barrington, N.J. The year's first bar gig took place at stylish restaurant with some Italian flair to its menu offerings. This Friday night was Dom's first performance at the establishment, which has been open for about a year. The standard tavern assortment of songs worked well, and with very little banter between tunes, Dom added an extra number or two to each set. Crystal, one of the waitresses, was celebrating ger birthday on Jan. 31, so the bar crowd joined in with "Happy Birthday" at midnight, right after the second set.
