New Castle Farm. Mkt. New Castle, Del. The year's first four-set show happened at a new venue for Dom. The New Castle Farmers' Market is a year-round, indoor flea market of sorts, contained in a huge building along the DuPont Highway. Nestled in the middle of the warehouse-like structure is a small seating area with a simple platform against one wall. It's a rest area for shoppers who want to sit for a while before browsing the sprawling confines for more crafts, wares, furnishings, electronics and whatever else they can find. It's also a good place to hear live music for four hours on Saturday evenings. Since it was Delaware in July, Dom played one song in each set from 2007's EP, Remember Me: New, Original Folk Music for the American Soldier. It was two years ago in July when Dom got to perform for veterans and military families down in Delaware's capital, Dover; participating in that special event and the kind words from the veterans prompted Dom to record the EP later that summer. One debut of a Dom original: "But I Mind" in the third set.
