Dom's entire EP broadcast on holiday-themed WVLT special
NOV. 10, 2011 -- The "Down Jersey" radio program and its host, the renowned Jim Albertson, have been very supportive of Dom's music over the years. The episode for 2011's second week of November paid special attention to two nearby holidays: Election Day and Veterans Day. Dom's song "Remember Me" closed the show on Vineland, N.J.-based WVLT 92.1 FM for Thursday, Nov. 10.

But the real treat is on the archived podcast of the episode, which contains a bonus portion not available on the original WVLT broadcast. The Nov. 10, 2011, extra material includes the rest of Dom's EP, Remember Me: New, Original Folk Music for the American Soldier, taking up most of the 20-minute overrun.

The 80-minute podcast can be found at this link: "Down Jersey" Nov. 10, 2011.

"Down Jersey" features folk and folk-inspired recordings, with inclusion of material and artists associated with New Jersey. It airs Thursdays from 9 to 10 p.m., with live streaming audio available at www.wvlt.com. The show's site, including the extensive episode archive and information about Jim Albertson and his work in the world of folk, is downjersey.wordpress.com.
